SOLUTIONS FOR THE MOST DEMANDING HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENTS
ODIS luminaires from VYRTYCH a.s. were chosen for the construction of the new Pavilion U at the IKEM University Hospital in Prague - one of the most important projects in the Czech healthcare sector in recent years. This pavilion brings an increase in capacity by 83 beds, 49 of which are in intensive care units, and is designed with an emphasis on the highest hygiene and technical standards.
ODIS luminaires have been selected for their suitability for operations with extreme demands on cleanliness, reliability and visual comfort. They are designed for use in environments with a cleanroom classification according to ISO 14644-1 - i.e. operating theatres, ICUs, laboratories and examination rooms.
These are recessed LED luminaires with a metal body made of powder-coated steel (RAL 9016) or AISI 304/316 stainless steel. Their clean, screwless design with rounded inner edges minimises dirt build-up and facilitates cleaning. The luminaires provide IP66 protection, efficiency up to 164 lm/W, a lifetime of 100,000 hours and the possibility of high colour rendering (CRI > 90) with low glare (UGR < 19).
Installation is done without opening the luminaire thanks to the use of the ADELS connector, and the luminaires are compatible with various types of ceilings - raster, plasterboard and metal.
This project confirms our steady growth in the cleanroom and pharmaceutical segments. We are proud that technologies developed, tested and manufactured in the Czech Republic contribute to the quality of care in a leading domestic healthcare facility.
